STOW. Ohio - Police are investigating after a car crashed into the Stow Post Office late Saturday morning.
Officers said the crash happened around 11:45 a.m when a 2009 Toyota Camry, operated by a 50-year-old female resident of Hudson, Ohio, drove into the lobby of the United States Post Office at 3900 Darrow Road.
The vehicle drove through the front doors of the Post Office and into the front lobby injuring a 51-year-old female resident of Stow.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the Emergency Room at Akron General Medical Center in Stow by Stow EMS.
The female patron was transported by Stow EMS to City Hospital in Akron.
The condition of both of the injured parties is unknown at this time.
The Post Office will be closed until Monday to repair the front entrance.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
