BARBERTON, Ohio - The Barberton Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-skip accident on Wednesday.
The crash happened on West State Street near Glenn Street at about 6:07 p.m. and involved a black Chevrolet Silverado extended cab truck, police said. The pick-up might have front driver’s side damage.
According to police, the truck left going eastbound towards Wooster Road North.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police did not release the victim’s age, gender or condition.
