Murderer Chad Cobb gets life without parole for murdering daughter's mother, Ashley Biggs

AKRON, Ohio - A New Franklin man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for murdering his daughter's mother.
The sentence was handed down to Chad Cobb in Summit County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to the crime.
Police in New Franklin said Cobb killed 25-year-old Ashley Biggs on June 20 while she was delivering pizzas on West Turkeyfoot Lake Road.
Biggs then went missing, but the Wayne County Sheriff's Office found his car in Chippewa Township less than 12 hours later. Inside the vehicle was Biggs' body.
