NEW FRANKLIN, Ohio - An autopsy has been scheduled in the death of man found floating Friday in the Turkeyfoot Lake.
New Franklin firefighters said they were dispatched around 6:50 p.m. to a report of a possible drowning near a boating dock located off Colemen Drive.
When crews arrived, a man was found floating in the water, firefighters said.
Fire crews said they pulled the victim from lake, but could not resuscitate him. He died at the scene.
The victim’s body was handed over to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office to undergo an autopsy, which has been scheduled for Saturday.
The victim’s name has not been released.
