BATH TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Bath Township police are investigating after they say a man offered $500 to a woman to get in his car.

On Jan. 6, a man in a Jeep pulled up to the woman, who was standing outside the Acme Fresh Market at about 2 p.m., the police report said.

The driver offered the woman money to get into the car, but she declined. Police said the driver was persistent and told her to get in several time before driving off.

The police report said the car was a silver Jeep Cherokee with Michigan license plates. The man was in his 30s with thin brown hair and a “fish hook” scare on the right side of his face.
