AKRON, Ohio - Two were arrested after a fight at an Akron bar sent a man to the hospital with a broken jaw and loose teeth.
The fight happened at about 11 p.m. Friday at Papa Don’s Pub on East Market Street in Akron.
Police said the 30-year-old victim was attacked by James Carson, 28, and Mark McQuaid, 26, both of Akron. The men threw punches and beer bottles at the victim before fleeing the bar’s patio, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he needed six staples in his head and eight stitches in his tongue, according to police. He also suffered a concussion, broken jaw and his front teeth were knocked loose.
Police arrested Carson and McQuaid, and both were charged with felonious assault.
