MACEDONIA, Ohio - Macedonia police are looking for tips after two men, wearing hooded sweatshirts, tied up and robbed a Speedway clerk.
The robbery happened Sept. 27 at the gas station located on East Highland Road near Rt. 8. Surveillance video and still images captured the crime, which happened around 10:40 p.m.
Summit County Crimestoppers is offering a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
Police said one man wearing a light hooded sweatshirt in the video is seen showing a silver revolver. Another man, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, tied the clerk's hands together and left him in a back storage room.
An undetermined amount of money was taken from the cash register.
The clerk heard one of the suspects say, "Hurry up Darrell/Derek, you're taking too long!"
One of the men was also wearing black or navy blue "Dickie" type work pants, dark colored boots and a greenish-tan knit hat with four light colored stripes on it.
The other man wore dark jeans, tan boots, a gray hooded sweatshirt with some type of emblem on the left chest area and a dark colored mask over his face.
