AKRON, Ohio - A wrong-way crash closed I-76 eastbound near the South Arlington exit around 10:15 p.m. Thursday.
Three cars collided in what appears to be a wrong-way crash, according to Akron police. Five people were rushed to local hospitals. Two people had to be cut from their cars due to damage they suffered. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police spent nearly four hours reconstructing the accident. The highway was reopened around 3 a.m. Friday.
