COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A fire broke out at the Steak on a Stone restaurant on Montrose West Avenue in Copley Township just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
According to Copley Township firefighters, the fire started in a mulch bed just outside the front doors and spread to the building.
The fire appeared to only damage the exterior of the building, but a fan was seen inside the front doors.
Some of the exterior panels were pulled back on the awning over the entrance and a sheet of drywall was covering the area that caught fire.
There was no indication whether the business would be back open Wednesday, but no interior damage was visible to NewsChannel5 crews.
Investigators are working to determine what started the mulch fire.
