HUDSON, Ohio - A black bear spotted in Streetsboro has now made its way to Hudson.
On its website, the City of Hudson posted an alert for all residents about a bear last seen at Hudson-Aurora Road heading east toward the High School.
It was first seen in Hudson in the area of American Fireworks on Darrow Road.
While the bears are not generally aggressive, the city is advising people to not approach the bear and stay inside.
They are also cautioning not to let small pets and children outside until the bear is out of the area.
To keep bears away, keep trash inside until pickup day, clean up your grill after use and raise bird and animal feeders.
According to Streetsboro police, this bear was spotted Wednesday along Cisar Drive and then to the east on Pike Parkway and Meldon Drive.
For the latest updates on the bear, check the City of Hudson’s website at www.hudson.oh.us .
