COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Deputies quickly arrested a suspect after a bank in Coventry Township was robbed Friday morning.
A man walked into the US Bank on Manchester Road at about 9:35 a.m. and passed the teller a demand note, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office said. The robber told the teller not to use any dye packs, then fled with the cash.
While arriving on the scene, Detective Scott Plymire and Deputy Shane Smith spotted a man matching the robber’s description.
They arrested 22-year-old Zachary Green of Akron. He was charged with aggravated robbery.
The sheriff’s office said Green was carrying items connecting him to the bank robbery.
