ALLIANCE, Ohio - Two 19-year-old University of Mount Union students were arrested after an explosion on campus Tuesday.
David Kratzenberg and Camden Krohn put toilet bowl cleaner and aluminum foil into a plastic bottle to trigger the explosion, according to police. They did not say when or where the explosion happened.
The two men, who police said live in a building in the 1700 block of Stadium Drive, were charged with having weapons on school premises.
Kratzenberg and Krohn have been released from jail and are awaiting a court hearing, police confirmed.
Each could face a maximum sentence of a year of jail time and $2,500 fine.
