CANTON, Ohio - Transformer issues left students and staff at GlenOak High School without power on Wednesday, according to the Plain Local Schools web site.
Students were released for the day.
Superintendent Brent May sent out an all-call message early Wednesday morning regarding the power outage. School officials are working with the power company to restore electricity by Wednesday afternoon.
Classes will resume Thursday morning.
