NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Stark County’s unemployment rate was 8.2 percent for the month of March, so the need for jobs is still high. Starkjobs.com is trying to lower that rate by holding a job fair Wednesday.
The event runs from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will be held at the Kent State Stark Campus on 6000 Frank Ave. NW in North Canton.
The fair will host over 50 employers recruiting candidates for full and part-time opportunities. The companies will be taking resumes and interview on the spot, so you should dress professionally and bring extra copies of your resume.
Some companies expected to attend include: Diebold, Republic Steel, Fresh Mark, H-P Products, The M.K. Morse Company, Prime Pro Data, Tank Services, Gervasi Vineyard, Tremcar, and more.
The job fair is open to anyone looking for employment. You can find more on the Spring fair here.
