Osnabury Township, OHIO - Voluntary evacuations were in order early Saturday morning in Osnaburg Township, just east of Canton in Stark County after a vehicle rolled onto a gas line following an accident.
A dispatcher with the Osnaburg Township Fire Department said it happened around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Route 44 and Georgetown Road. About 20 residents were affected. The evacuations were for precautionary measures.
After the gas line was repaired about an hour later, residents were allowed back into their homes.
There were only minor injuries associated with the accident.
