AKRON, Ohio - A driver led police on a chase Saturday evening after crashing into a pole.
Officers said they responded to a single-vehicle into a pole around 8:35 p.m. on Copley Road at Noah Avenue.
Police said the driver then drove off leading authorities on a 30 mph chase.
Police said the 6 minute pursuit ended at Exchange Street and Locust Street, where the suspect was taken into custody.
Exchange St. and Locust St. was shut down, but are now back open.
No other information was released.
