CANTON, Ohio - The man suspected of robbing several banks inside Giant Eagle grocery stores across northeast Ohio has been arrested.
Currently, Benjamin Gates, 33, is charged with just one count of robbery for the hold-up at the Huntington Bank inside Giant Eagle on Raff Road in Canton on Aug 10, the FBI said.
Gates was arrested Thursday afternoon without incident in the 1200 block of Clarendon Avenue NW in Canton, which is near Lehman Middle School.
On Tuesday, the FBI released photos of bank robberies inside Giant Eagles in Cuyahoga Falls, Youngstown and North Canton. At that time, the FBI said the subject was suspected of robbing five banks.
