ALLIANCE, Ohio - Authorities in northeast Ohio say a man died in a house fire and a woman was injured jumping out of a second-floor window to escape.
The (Canton) Repository reports that firefighters responded to the blaze in Alliance at about 3:30 a.m. Monday.
The body of the man was found by firefighters on the second floor during a search of the house. The woman who jumped from a window was taken to a hospital. No names have been released.
The cause is under investigation.
