Man arrested in North Canton meth bust

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - North Canton police searched a home and found a meth operation Thursday afternoon.

Officers said they served a search warrant on Fairview Street SE near McKinley Avenue SE at about 1 p.m. regarding an investigation of illegal drug activity.

At the home, police said they found evidence of the manufacture and assembly of methamphetamine.

James Haldeman, 47, of North Canton, was arrested without incident when he returned to the home while officers were completing the search.

Haldeman was booked into Stark County Jail on the charges of trafficking in drugs and possession and illegal manufacturing of drugs.
