JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A Stark County grand jury has indicted the former Jackson High School basketball coach on charges he recorded players in the shower.
Court records show 46-year-old Scott Studer was indicted Wednesday on eight counts of illegal use of minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance. He’ll be arraigned on the charges Friday.
Studer is accused of videotaping player in the shower, then saving the images to a DVD, laptop and flash drive before returning the camera to the locker room. So far, investigators have identified 74 victims in the case.
The freshman basketball coach was in his 27th season for the Polar Bears. He resigned amidst the allegations.
