ALLIANCE, Ohio - Several college students were busted after an undercover campus marijuana operation Wednesday at Mount Union.

Alliance detectives executed a search warrant following a two-week investigation into drug sales at the university.

During the search, multiple marijuana sales were made to confidential informants by a student from his dorm room.

Vincent Schade, 18, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and underage possession of alcohol.

In the search of Schade’s dorm room in McCready Hall, detectives found marijuana packaged for sale, cash, loose marijuana and alcohol.

The investigation also led detectives to additional rooms on campus, as well as a car owned by one of the students. Detectives confiscated more marijuana packaged for sale, pills, scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia. It led to the arrest of four more teens.

Blake Miller, 18, of McCready Hall, was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Miller’s roommate 19-year-old Travis Infield was also arrested for complicity in the marijuana trafficking.

Jonathan Delpa, 18, of McCready Hall was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of dangerous drugs -- diazepam pills, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Finally, the last teen arrested was 18-year-old Wyatt Grindley of Cunningham Hall. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after he was found to have weed and a pipe.

Grindley became ill while being interviewed by police. He was taken to Alliance Community Hospital where he was treated and released.

The four other teens were taken to Stark County Jail on their felony charges. They will be arraigned in Alliance Municipal Court Friday.
