NORTH CANTON, Ohio - North Canton police have made a pair of arrests in connection to two separate hit-skip crashes that left multiple people injured over the weekend.
The first wreck happened Friday around 6:30 p.m. when authorities said a vehicle hit another on East Maple and Marquardt, injuring several.
Police said the at-fault driver, 50-year-old James Houston of Barberton, was charged Saturday with leaving the scene of a crash and driving under suspension.
On Saturday, police said another hit-skip took place, this time at 9:10 p.m. in the 100 block of North Main St.
Tony Hill, 47, is accused of hitting another vehicle, injuring those inside, before taking off. Police later found Hill at his home and arrested him.
The 47-year-old has been charged with OVI, leaving the scene of a crash and more.
Both are behind bars in the Stark County Jail.
