ALLIANCE, Ohio - There was a buzz in the Alliance Police Department Thursday night.

Officers posted on its Facebook page that the entire department smelled like marijuana after a raid earlier in the week.

In fact, Alliance police made the largest indoor marijuana bust in the department’s history Tuesday night.

Special Investigations Detectives Minich and Rajcan seized 260 pot plants from a house on South Seneca Avenue, police said.

“Can someone donate about 1,000 of these little tree air freshners please?” the post stated.

It went on to say that the jail had to be closed for a day and several employees felt sick.

“We might have to give roll call on the street in front of the station,” an added post said.

Dozens of comments were posted to their Facebook page following the post. You can read them here .

There was no immediate word on when the air would be cleared.
