CANTON TOWNSHIP, OH - A bicyclist was struck by two cars Thursday and survived.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Cody M. Humphrey, 18, of Massillon, Ohio was riding his bike along 53 rdStreet towards SR 800 when he rode through a stop sign and into a busy intersection.
Humphrey was struck by a Honda Civic and then by a Nissan Maxima. His body became entrapped under the Nissan.
A forklift was used to lift the vehicle off of the teen.
EMS responded to the scene and transported Humphrey to Aultman Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
There have been no charges filed.
The incident is being investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canton Post as a two separate crashes.
