JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The former basketball coach at Jackson High School has pleaded not guilty to charges he recorded athletes in the locker room showers.
Scott Studer appeared in court for an arraignment Friday, where his pre-trial date was set for Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m.
Studer was indicted Wednesday on eight counts of illegal use of minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance.
The 46-year-old Studer is accused of placing a camera in the shower area to videotape players, then saving the images to a DVD, laptop and flash drive before returning the camera to the locker room.
Investigators have identified 74 victims thus far.
Studer was in his 27th season coaching the Polar Bears’ freshman basketball team. He resigned from that position amidst the allegations.
