MANSFIELD, Ohio - Authorities have arrested a man in connection with a Saturday home invasion in Crestline.
Members of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and Patrol Bureau along with the Richland County Division of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force executed a search warrant at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday on Penn Avenue in Mansfield.
Jedd Heiland was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated robbery and burglary in relation with the break-in that happened in the 1100 block of Brookdale Drive.
Heiland was taken to the Richland County Jail where he is awaiting an initial court appearance.
The sheriff’s office said it is continuing to investigate this crime as well as another home invasion on Monday in the 1100 block of East Hanley Road in Mansfield.

An Ohio corrections employee has been fired over the escape of an inmate serving a life sentence for rape, officials said Monday.
Three men have been hospitalized Wednesday after a multiple-vehicle crash in Mifflin Township in Richland County, according to Ohio State Highway troopers.
