BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A man from Ashland County was killed, three others taken to the hospital after a one-car crash in Richland County early Friday morning.
The crash happened at about 3:02 a.m. on Olivesburg-Fitchville Road near Neslon Road in Butler Township.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver, 35-year-old Holly Amend of Shiloh, lost control of her Pontiac Torrent, ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
A passenger in the car, 34-year-old Michael Easterling II was killed, troopers said.
Amend and two other passengers, 34-year-old Denise Henthorn of Greenwich and Luke Armbruster of Ashland, were taken to Mansfield Med-Central Hospital. There’s no word yet on their conditions.
The patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
