RAVENNA, Ohio - Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a two-car crash in Ravenna that left a 52-year-old Youngstown man dead.
The crash happened around 6:41 a.m. on Route 14 southeast of Route 5.
Authorities said Anthony Rodriguez, 21, of Mantua, lost control of his SUV while traveling southeast on Route 14. Rodriguez slid left of center, hitting Lawrence Santangelo's car causing it to roll on its side.
Santangelo was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Rodriguez was also taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
No charges have been filed but troopers continue to investigate the wreck.
