STREETSBORO, Ohio - Police in Streetsboro arrested and charged a 19-year-old driver and her 22-year-old passenger with possession of drugs after marijuana and $9,000 were found inside the vehicle.

Samantha Ehlert, 19, of Willowick, was stopped on Route 14 near Mondial Parkway around midnight for a registration violation.

After stopping the car, the officer found Ehlert was driving with a suspended license and her passenger, Robert Webb, 22, of Willowick, also had a suspended license.

Because neither could legally drive the car, police had it towed. While officers took inventory of the car, they found a pound of marijuana and in the trunk and a plastic bag with $9,000 cash under the seat.

Ehlert and Webb were arrested and charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs.  Both are behind bars in the Portage County Jail awaiting arraignment.
