KENT, Ohio - Fire broke out at a Kent State University dorm early Friday morning.
According to KSU officials, the fire broke out on the eighth floor of Koonce Hall around 2:30 a.m.
Apparently, someone set fire to a hand sanitizer dispenser.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Students have since been permitted back into their dorms.

Two northeast Ohio universities are questioning the validity of a national report about teacher education programs.
One lane is currently open eastbound I-480. The stretch of highway was shut down at State Route 91 earlier today due to an overturned semi-tractor trailer, police said.
