STREETSBORO, Ohio - Streetsboro police are investigating a head-on crash on State Route 14 that killed a 68-year-old man.

Police said it happened Tuesday between Lake Rockwell and Price Road when Henry Kelker, 68, of Ravenna, was heading southeast when his 2006 Kia went left of center and hit a 2011 Kia driven by Tracy Whittaker, 29, of Streetsboro.

Streetsboro fire took Kelker to Akron City Hospital, while Ravenna fire brought Whittaker to Akron General Hospital.

Kelker died Thursday of injuries suffered in the crash. Whittaker is still hospitalized and in serious condition.

Officers said they do not know right now why Kelker went left of center but do not believe at this time that drugs or alcohol was a factor.

Streetsboro Police is currently investigating the crash.
