MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio - A wrong-way driver on Interstate 71 in Medina County has been arrested and charged with driving drunk.
Around 11 p.m. Thursday, the Medina County Sheriff's Office got a call that someone was driving northbound in the southbound lanes on I-71 near Lodi.
Deputies came out to the area and spotted the vehicle in question. Stop sticks were put down, but deputies said the driver avoided them.
As Patrick Marshall, 28, of Cleveland, swerved to miss the stop sticks, authorities said Marshall just missed smashing into one of the cruisers.
Marshall eventually stopped.
He was then arrested and charged with OVI and felony fleeing.
