WADSWORTH, Ohio - Wadsworth High School and the YMCA were evacuated for a possible hazmat situation on Tuesday.
Police said fire and EMS responded to the Wadsworth YMCA on School Drive at about 2 p.m. The Medina County hazmat team was also called to the scene.
Just before 5 p.m., Wadsworth police said the YMCA and the nearby Wadsworth High School complex will remain closed for the rest of the day. They will reopen on Wednesday at their normal business times.
The police department did not say if any threat was found.
