BRUNSWICK, Ohio - "The Souper Bowl of Caring," at Saint Ambrose Church in Brunswick took place this Sunday in honor of the Super Bowl.
Members of the church's teen group, FIAT, collected money in soup pots before and after each mass on Sunday.
St. Ambrose feeds roughly five thousand people a year with their monthly community meals.
"We are collecting money to subsidize that next year," said Volunteer Scott Hodan. The group hoped to raise nine thousand dollars.
