WADSWORTH, Ohio - Following a rash of vehicle break-ins in Wadsworth, police are reminding residents not to leave valuable items in their cars.
Thefts were reported in the neighborhoods of Highland Avenue, Ohio Avenue and North Pardee Streets, according to a police news release Friday.
Police say thieves commonly steal GPS units, cell phones, other electronics, wallets, purses and loose change.
People are reminded to lock their vehicles, hide items left inside and park in well-lit areas.
Wadsworth police ask anyone who notices unusual cars, people or activity in Wadsworth neighborhoods to report it by calling 330-334-1511.
