PARMA, Ohio - An accidental shooting at the Medina County gun show in January has led to charges against a Parma man.
Harry Magocky, 59, has been charged with negligence assault and discharging a firearm in city limits.
The accidental shooting happened on a Saturday afternoon at the Medina County gun show held at the community center.
Medina authorities said a gun dealer was checking out a semi-automatic handgun he just bought when he accidentally pulled the trigger.
Investigators believe the round hit the floor before striking the dealer in the leg and arm.
Police said the gun's magazine was loaded and had been pulled from the firearm, but one round remained in the chamber.
Magocky's arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 20 at 9 a.m.
