NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio - One woman was killed and two other people injured during a three-car crash in North Royalton.
The crash happened when an eastbound car stopped on Boston Road to turn left onto Queensbridge Lane at about 5:32 p.m. Thursday, according to North Royalton police.
A truck traveling eastbound did not see the stopped car and tried to go around, but it hit the stopped car and a westbound car head-on, Sgt. David Centner.
The female passenger of the westbound car was killed and the driver was taken by medical helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center. The chopper landed on the practice green of the Valleaire Golf Course.
Centner said the man driving the truck that caused the accident was taken by ambulance to Southwest General Health Center.
North Royalton police they believe everyone was wearing their seatbelts. The road was opened back up at about 9:30 p.m.
