WADSWORTH, Ohio - Two men are in Medina County jail after a meth lab was found in a Wadsworth home for the second time in two months.

Eric Thomas, 27, of Wadsworth and his brother-in-law Michael Armbruster, 30, of Barberton were arrested in connection with an active meth lab found on the 400 block of Plum Creek Drive.

Police said they found methamphetamine after pulling over Thomas, who admitted to having an active meth lab at his home. Armbruster was identified at that home, where police dismantled the lab found in the basement.

Less than a month earlier, on May 14, police discovered a meth lab at the same Plum Creek Drive home, after arresting Thomas for selling meth to an undercover agent.

Thomas was indicted on charges of drug trafficking, drug manufacturing, illegal assembly of chemicals and child endangering. He posted the required bail and was released from jail.

In this latest incident, Thomas was charged with one count of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Armbruster already had an active felony arrest warrant through Summit County after failing to appear in court for a previous methamphetamine related arrest, according to police.

He was arrested on that warrant and also charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Both are expected to face further charges once the case is reviewed.
