MEDINA, Ohio - Medina schools are closed and a boil alert is in effect for the next 24 hours as a result of a water main break on Forest Meadows Drive Friday morning.
Medina city said the break was isolated to an area on the north end of town but affected most of the city, except the southwest portion.
They said it lowered water pressure in most of the city and the city had to re-pressurize tanks.
City water crews said that water has now been restored to everyone except one street.
As a result of the main break, there is no water in any of the schools.
The closing includes all schools in the district.
