Korean War veteran to be laid to rest after his remains were unable to be identified for years

RITTMAN, Ohio - Family and friends will pay their respects to a Brunswick Marine killed in the Korean War.

Marine Corporal Clarence Huff will be laid to rest Wednesday morning in Rittman. Huff died in action in 1950 but his remains were unable to be identified.

Huff grew up in Hinckley and graduated from Hinckley High School in 1948.

Huff was buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu. This year, his remains were re-examined and identified as Huff, thanks to new technology.
