MEDINA, Ohio - Medina police are looking for a California woman wanted on counterfeit currency charges.
Brenda L. Duever, 36, faces a fifth-degree felony charge for forgery and additional charges could be filed once the case is handed over to a grand jury.
"A team of our detectives is actively working with Secret Service," said Chief Patrick Berarducci on Wednesday. “We are not done. I feel pretty confident more arrests will follow."
Officers from Medina, Medina Township and Montville, as well as the Secret Service, searched a placed on North Broadway Street on Tuesday. Medina police said they found evidence of counterfeiting that was sent to the Secret Service labs for further investigation.
Anyone with information on Duever should call the Medina Police Department at 330-725-7777.
