Brunswick police: Willett Middle School mother charged with assaulting another mom

BRUNSWICK, Ohio - A Willett Middle School mother has been arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting another mom Tuesday.
According to a Brunswick police report, a mother was waiting in her parked car for her son to be dismissed when another parent, Connie Edmiston, began yelling at her.
Edmiston reportedly approached the car and hit the other mom in the face before fleeing the scene.
The victim was treated at the scene by Brunswick firefighters and taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Officers identified the suspect as Edmiston, who was then arrested and charged with assault.
It's unclear what exactly sparked the incident. Brunswick police continue to investigate.
Willett Middle School is located at 1045 Hadcock Rd. in Brunswick.
