BRUNSWICK HILLS, Ohio - Brunswick Hills Safety Services opened their doors to give the public an up close look at their departments on Sunday.
Residents took advantage of the behind the scenes look at both the fire and police departments. Kids could get behind the wheel of a fire truck, in the back of an ambulance and see a medical helicopter take off and land. "My little guy wants to be a fireman, he loves getting in the trucks and seeing the firehouse dog," said resident Lisa Sekowski.
The police department let children see their equipment up close, sign a drug free pledge and get fingerprinted.
The fire department also held a service and balloon release to remember fallen firefighters.
