WADSWORTH, Ohio - Police in Wadsworth say someone reported seeing a black bear in the southeast corner of the city.
The bear was reportedly seen in the Johnson Road/Silvercreek Road area.
Wadsworth's animal warden confirmed the bear tracks in the area.
Authorities say bears generally aren't aggressive, but they don't suggest approaching the animal or aggravating it if you see one.
If you see a bear, it is not necessary to contact police unless the animal is acting aggressive, sick/injured, or if you believe that the bear's location is a concern for people or traffic.
