BRUNSWICK, Ohio - Balloons will be released into the sky from Brunswick High School to honor the lives of four teens killed recently in a car crash.
At 5 p.m. Wednesday, students, staff and community members will share in lifting their thoughts and prayers to the teens who were killed June 3, as well as the sole survivor of the tragic wreck.
A balloon rosary will also be launched.
Along with encouraging words from ministers, music and BHS chants will celebrate the lives of Jeff Chaya, Blake Bartchak, Kevin Fox and Lexi Poerner.
"We wish to also send positive energy to Julia Romito," explained Judy Bartok, a Brunswick resident and member of St. Ambrose Parish.
The State Highway Patrol said the speeding car carrying the teens went airborne over railroad tracks, hitting a ditch and tree, before coming to a stop on its roof.
