HINCKLEY, Ohio - A truck went airborne and crashed into a Hinckley house Thursday afternoon, but no one was injured, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
A Dodge pick-up truck didn’t stop at the intersection of Babcock and Stony Hill roads, and drove down a steep driveway. The vehicle hit a tree and a rock before striking the house, the Medina post of the highway patrol said.
A woman was home at the time. She had just left the room when the truck came through and hit the couch where she had been sitting, troopers said. A huge hole was left in the house.
Hinckley police said no injuries were reported.
The driver was cited for failure to stop and not wearing a seatbelt.
