HOMERVILLE, Ohio - A 2-year-old hit by a pick-up truck in Homerville Monday has died.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office said 2-year-old Sophia Miller died Tuesday morning from injuries suffered when the Medina County Sheriff's Office said she was struck by a pick-up truck in a driveway.
The sheriff's office said it happened at about 3:30 p.m. Monday on Jesse Lane in Homerville.
A helicopter transported the toddler to Akron Children’s Hospital.
The medical examiner and sheriff's offices are investigating what led to the accident and the cause of death.
