ELYRIA, Ohio - Three people were seriously injured during a two-car crash in Elyria Thursday night.
The crash happened at the intersection of state Route 57 and Taylor Street at about 9:29 p.m.
The driver of a Toyota Camry, Richard Holt, 56, of Lorain, and his wife, 55-year-old Doris Holt, were both taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital.
Police said the driver of a Ford F-150 had been ejected and was lying in the northbound lanes of SR 57 when they arrived. He was identified as 48-year-old Philip J. Mariner of Elyria and taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital.
Elyria police said all three were later taken by medical helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center. Officers did not release their conditions.
