AVON LAKE, Ohio - A large sign fell on two victims at a local football game Friday night, sending them to the hospital.
It happened at around 7 p.m. near the flag pole at Avon Lake High School during a football game, according to firefighters.
Firefighters said strong winds knocked over the 8 by 10 foot sign, injuring the two adult males.
The men were transported by ambulance to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
