ELYRIA, Ohio - A semi car hauler caught fire on the Ohio Turnpike early Tuesday morning.
Ohio State Highway Patrol said Elyria firefighters were working to extinguish the fire at exit 145.
The fire appeared to be put out by about 8:30 a.m. NewsChannel5 viewer Joe Petkovsek sent in a breaking news photo that shows smoke pouring from the truck.
Safety officials from the Ohio Turnpike said they believe it may have been caused by a blown tire.
The driver of the semi told NewsChannel5 he was headed from New Jersey to Washington State.
There were about 10 cars on the hauler.
No injuries have been reported.
